Human to Animal
Dose Calculator

Estimate a BSA-equivalent animal dose by algebraically reversing the fixed-km conversion.

Formulaanimal mg/kg = human mg/kg × 37 / animal km

Scope and limitations

Fixed-km BSA scaling is a simplified interspecies estimate, not a recommended or experimentally validated dose. It does not account for species-specific pharmacokinetics, bioavailability, administration route, dosing frequency, pharmacodynamics, efficacy, or toxicity. It may be inappropriate for locally acting or compartmental administration, marked route-dependent bioavailability, large biologics, or compounds with major interspecies PK/PD differences.

This algebraic reverse-scaling estimate does not represent a recommended dose for an animal model.
